Ce document est un exposé en anglais présentant le système de classement des joueurs de tennis français. Il expose les classements utilisés (tels que 0; 1/6; 2/6...15...30...40) et explique la façon dont ils sont calculés (par ordinateurs en utilisant internet).

Avec des graphiques, images et exemples ce document permet de comprendre rapidement le système et peut être utilisé lors de présentations.

La mise en page est vraiment trés agréable et travaillée.

In France, we have a very developed ranking system
in tennis.
To get his rank, a player has to play several matches
for the season. When he wins, he gets some points
and the number of points earned at the end of the
season will determine his new rank.
The computers, and internet, are used alot.

There are 23 different rankings split into 4 « Séries.»
- The first serie includes the very best players in the nation
- The second serie includes the promotion (group of very good players)
and the rankings from -30 to 15. It is required to be in the second serie (i.e. at least ranked 15) to pass the national tennis teacher’s degree.
The lower the number of your ranking, the better you are.
- The third serie consists of numbers between 15/1 to 30.
- The fourth includes the last rankings until 40
- If you play a match without ranking, you are NC (« Non classé »)
